Note these must be pets and use to interacting with people. 

Should the animal not be friendly or ok with large studio lights and cameras we will not be able to take this booking.

These sessions are for the Darwin Palmerston Howard Springs Region.

About the project 

Internationally published professional photographer Shane Eecen is celebrating, in this project, the love of pets and the amazing impact they have on our lives.

Shane recently lost his furred friend of 9 years and realised what a positive impact his furred friend had made to his and many other lives and now treasures, even more, the special studio photographs taken each year, capturing Whiskey’s loved personality as each year went by. 

He then thought how wonderful if everyone could have this, too, for their loved ones - with the special photos that only a studio session can create.

To help celebrate his life, rather than mourn the passing of his dear “furred friend Whiskey”, Shane Eecen is offering studio photographs to others in his 365 pet sessions project - priced at the special price of $110 per pet per photo session… inclusions see below*. 

To share the love of pets and how wonderful they are in our lives, Shane plans also to include your pet’s photo in an exhibition and book at the end of this project. (See conditions below).

BOOK EARLY as numbers are limited - Bookings are essential as only 365 pets will be photographed in 2018 and then the special priced project will end.

During the photo session Shane will capture the unique personality of your pet and one final image will be chosen for printing and framing on the spot.

*What it includes

1. As this is our part of the 365 Per Portrait project. This will be a portrait photo of your pets face / head.
2. Travel to your location
3. Set up of a professional mini studio at your location including a back drop.
4.  A 15-20 minute one on one session with your pet (one pet in one session) capturing the personality of your beloved animal friend, with a 20 minutes post photography session to choose the one portrait photo to be printed on the spot
5.  one 6x8 print will be placed on a block mount and given to you at the end of your session. if location is not suitable for printing the print will be posted out to you.
6.  One social media copy (digital copy) emailed to you (this is not a print resolution version).

The 365 sessions are available by online prepaid booking only.

Please note this project is only for animals. Although Shane also loves photographing humans no humans are to be captured in this project. Please refer to special conditions below.

FAQS

How many pet bookings are there at this great price? There are only 365 pet portrait bookings on this project and a limited number of 12 large animal pets.

How many pets can I bring? only one pet per session 

Can I bring the same pet back for another session? No this project is to share with 365 different pets. 

However you can book an extra session ( see extras after you commence your booking ) for your pet though this is not included in the 365 final exhibition and book.

 How long is my session?  A total of approx 40 mins

up to 10mins to meet and greet your pet and make them comfortable.

up to 15 mins is allocated for photography 

up to 15mins to print your photo.

 What If I am running late?   We hope that you allow the time and don't run late. Pets don't like to be rushed.

In this case your photography session time will be reduced so as we can make our next session.

 Can I Cancel? refunds are not permitted on this project though you can gift your session by notifying us by email 24hrs in advance, as we will need to know the details of the new pet and may need to change he studio set up.

 What If I am a "No Show"? If you forget to contact us and  re gift your session the allocated session will be will  be forfeit and open for a new pet booking.

Period of the 365 Pet Portraits project: Jan 1 2018 to December 31 2018 or 365 bookings whichever comes first.

Gift Vouchers: can also be purchased online

Additional prints: can be purchased ranging in size from 6x8 inches to 40 inches wide (POA at the session).

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Once the booking is made there are no refunds though you can transfer or donate your project session to a friend and their pet. This must be notified by email 24hrs prior to the scheduled session.

To share this project with 365 pets a pet can only be photographed once. 

(Additional sessions can be booked outside of this project.)

Photos from the 365 Pet Portrait project will be displayed in the final exhibition and also appear in the coffee table book “365 Pet Portraits by Shane Eecen - 2018”

A pet release form will be emailed prior to the session requesting your permission and signature.

This allows the photo of your pet to be reproduced for a final exhibition and publishing in the project book.

Copies of prints from the exhibition and books can be purchased at a later date. 

For safety and to minimise stress on your beloved pet, only one pet is allowed in the studio at a time.

Multiple pets photographed together are not included in this special package. This can be booked as a separate session (POA).
